FIDDLERS ELBOW WEDDING: MEAGAN & JAMES

This day was absolutely WORTH THE WAIT!!! I like to think that these beautiful big tulips bloomed juuust for Meagan and James as a special reward for being so patient while COVID affected their original wedding date. This day was such a special celebration, and I definitely cried through every single speech. Both Meagan and James have experienced one of the hardest life losses - the loss of their fathers. In many ways this wedding day was a tribute to them just as much as it was Meagan and James. They both carried charms of their dads throughout the day, photos of them accented the décor, and my favorite part, M&J were wed in the same church Meagan's parents were married at in 1977!!

James and Meagan’s vision for their wedding at Fiddler’s Elbow Country Club was a fresh, clean look accented with lots and lots of candles. The color palette consisted of dusty blue, white, and greenery. A long rectangular table for the wedding party served as a focal point for the reception. It sported a beautiful garland of greenery as a runner, a mix of white roses and dahlias, and warmly lit candles for a romantic glow. Guests were greeted with signature cocktails which I’m certain helped keep the dance floor packed all night long! Congratulations Meagan and James, you couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day!

“I'm sad that I won't be there to walk you down the aisle, but know that I'm looking down on you and everyone.” - One of the last things Meagan’s father shared with her when she asked how he was feeling. While her brother may be on her arm, everyone in that church felt her father’s presence in that moment.

Fiddler’s Elbow Country Club is one of my favorite New Jersey wedding venues! This enchanting English Manor transports guests from New Jersey to the English countryside. The rolling green meadows, scenic grounds, and ballroom with floor-to-ceiling windows give guests a picture-perfect experience. And did I mention how absolutely flawless this warm stone estate will look in your photographs?!
