PARK CHATEAU WEDDING, EAST BRUNSWICK NJ

STEVE & JACCI

STEVE & JACCI

With 300 guests, a massive chateau venue, and a flower or detail around every corner, one wouldn't expect Jacci and Steve's wedding to have felt intimate. But Jacci is ALL heart. She poured herself into creating an experience for her family and friends at every stage of the day, starting with heartfelt gifts for each bridesmaid, junior bridesmaid, and family member. Jacci picked out items that each person would love and thoughtfully spent her morning gifting everyone around her! It was like Christmas!

Jacci and Steve opted to have their mutual best friend marry them which made their ceremony so special and personal. The couple chose a color story, rather than a theme for the day. They focused on neutral dove greys, soft blush, soft blues, and metallics. As you can see from the watercolor photo booth backdrop, Taylor Swift and Jacci had the same pink & blue palette on their minds this year! Jacci wanted to shy away from the "traditional romantic" elements like greenery and instead bring in a more contemporary romance. She chose bold, boho-chic floral design with minimalistic vessels and structures. Rather than the more common roses, Jacci chose bleached pampas grass, orchids, anthurium, and astilbe. I can’t wait for you to see this wedding!!!

Jacci and Steve hosted an outdoor ceremony in the gardens, but we LOVED the idea of doing their First Look in the onsite chapel. Jacci walked down the aisle twice that day and both moments were total magic!

As guests arrived for the ceremony, a Veuve Before Vows Champagne Cart served welcome drinks with custom cocktail napkins and calligraphy swizzle sticks. The brass Γ©tagΓ¨re was filled with Jacci’s favorite brand - Veuve Cliquot. Vintage Veuve art prints, suitcases, and even a "press for champagne" doorbell were included. As a continuation on the vintage vehicle and glam champagne vibes, a vintage golf cart waited for guests just outside the veranda with a custom installation of monochromatic white multi-sized balloons to represent more β€œbubble” fun.

A set of vintage blush trunks displayed flip flops for guests as they entered the ballroom. A 7-foot vintage brass mirror displayed calligraphy escort cards on organic watercolor dipped stationary. The cards were affixed to the mirror using numeric wax seals as a way for guests to know their table numbers. The reception tables boasted marble chargers with blush pink ceramic plates with modern cut stemware and brushed gold flatware. Each table featured one of three centerpiece types - grand candelabras, low glassless terrarium trios, and tall gold geo stands to add dimension to the very lofted ceiling ballroom. The tables were finished with charcoal velvet napkins and Irish linen dove gray tablecloths.

Jacci and Steve LOVED the idea of our FUNbooth, but they chose to create their own backdrop display with the help of JRD Artshop and Twisted Willow Flowers. The β€œOn Cloud 9 Fun Booth” featured a 12'x9' hand-painted watercolor backdrop draped on a custom gold pipe frame. Antique chairs, a gold Γ©tagΓ¨re full of props, and life size marquee letters of their initials made for a fun guest experience!

After a wonderful sit-down dinner, guests were surprised yet again with a Cuban cigar station and a Bourbon & Bitters Apothecary Cart! Guests could customize their bourbon with custom batch lavender bitters, lavender sugar cubes, rose sugar cubes, and burnt orange slices.

One of Jacci and Steve's main loves is their dachshund Geoffrey. For their favors, the couple used a refurbished RV as a "Sugar Shack" offering dachshund themed decor and accents in cotton candy colors. There was even a wall of actual doggie bags (with Geoffrey's face on the tag of course!) with branded treats for guests to bring home to their dogs! And of course, there were human doggie bags as well which guests could fill with mini doughnuts, macarons, cotton candy, and test tube racks of paper flowers with seed bearing lollipops. While guests filled their bags, they could sip on cotton candy flavored cocktails with names like Fluff Yeah and On Cloud 9! It was the perfect way to end the night! Congratulations to the most thoughtful and creative couple!!
